The day before, a video appeared on the Web in which its author unlocks the device using an unregistered fingerprint. Moreover, he can even remove the blockage with a pack of chewing gum. One would assume that this is an isolated case, and there is some kind of sensor malfunction, but other Nokia 9 PureView owners have reported a similar bug.

As of this writing, HMD Global, the owner of the Nokia brand, has not responded to these reports. However, if the problem is really widespread, then its solution will appear in the near future. Until this happens, users should use a digital or graphic code to securely protect the personal information stored in the phone.
