Banks and credit organizations proposed to change the system of work with money transfers. As planned, the new option should help in preventing fraudulent activities. Alexey Voylukov, Vice President of the Association of Banks Rossiya (ADB), spoke about this after a meeting of employees responsible for security in large financial organizations.
In particular, companies offer to increase the term for blocking a dubious transfer, as well as return funds to the client if it was not possible to contact him and confirm the transfer.
At the moment, banks have the right to block a money transfer for two days if there are doubts about the legality of the operation. If during this period it is not possible to contact the owner, then by law the bank is forced to transfer money to the recipient.
