Qualcomm's mysterious hardware platform has surfaced in the Geekbench database: observers believe that a sample of the future Snapdragon 865 flagship processor has passed the tests.
The product appears as QUALCOMM Kona for arm64. It has been tested on a device based on a motherboard codenamed msmnile. 6 GB of RAM was installed in the system, and Android Q (Android 10) was used as the software platform.
Geekbench data suggests that the mysterious processor contains eight processing cores. The base frequency is indicated at around 1,8 GHz.
The processor showed a result of 4149 points when using a single core and 12 points in multi-core mode. This is above average for the current Snapdragon 915 processor.
Note that the announcement of the Snapdragon 865 chip is expected towards the end of this year. It is expected that the product will allow the use of LPDDR5 RAM, which will provide data transfer rates up to 6400 Mbps.
