Vivaldi fans have been waiting for this release for several years, almost since the release of the first version of the browser for Windows, macOS and Linux in 2015, but, according to the developers, they did not want to release just another web browsing application. on the phone, instead, the mobile version should follow the spirit of the big brother and delight its users with customization options and user-friendly interface. Now, in the official Russian-language blog, the Vivaldi team states: “The day has come when we considered the mobile version of the Vivaldi browser ready for our users.” Let's see together what they did.
At the first start, you will be greeted by a standard express panel with links to partner resources, which can be easily removed if necessary. The express panel itself supports folder creation and grouping, just like the PC version, which is quite convenient in our opinion. Although at the moment the creation of new folders and panels is implemented only through bookmarks, which is not very obvious, but it seems that the developers themselves understand this well, so the situation should soon improve.
The address bar is located at the top in the usual way, next to it, to the right, there is a button that calls up a menu with a standard set of functions for setting up the browser, and if it is activated with an open tab, some additional features appear, such as creating a copy of the page or a screenshot (both the entire page and and only the visible part). The main controls are located at the bottom, in the area of the screen best accessible to the fingers holding the phone.
The Panels button allows you to display the list of bookmarks in full screen, you can also switch to the web browsing history, which, by the way, is also synchronized with the PC, see the list of notes and downloads. Everything is at hand and in the form of visual lists.
In the lower right corner there is a button for managing tabs, which displays their full list in a style similar to the express panel, at the top four controllers will help you switch between simply open tabs, anonymous ones running on a PC and recently closed ones.
To sync your data, you will need
Fans of dark shades, protecting their eyes, will surely like the dark theme of the browser, which affects all panels and interface elements. In addition, the browser supports reading mode on those sites where it is available in principle, and the activation of which is offered by default when the browser starts (the same promise to save traffic).

Note that the browser is still in beta testing. For example, as we noted, on the express panel itself, there is practically no additional functionality for creating and grouping panels, links, and folders. During personal testing, the menu with the browser color theme setting was also missing, as well as the lack of a link in the note saved on the PC. Developers are asked to leave comments about the bugs found
