Publisher Bethesda Softworks announced the acquisition of Alpha Dog, a studio specializing in the development of mobile games. How edition of GamesIndustry.biz, a team from Scotland is best known for the Ninja Golf project. This is a shareware remake of the game of the same name, which was released on the Atari 7800 console.
Bethesda Senior Vice President of Engineering Todd Vaughn commented on the acquisition of the studio: βThe Alpha Dog team, which cares about quality and deep experience in mobile projects, made a good impression. We're excited to have the team join the Bethesda family."
Alpha Dog Studio was founded in 2012 and has since released several games. In addition to the aforementioned Ninja Golf, users may know the MonstroCity: Rampage team, which the developers continue to support even three years after the release.
