Biostar Introduces Intel H410, B460 and Z490 Motherboards for Comet Lake-S

Biostar, along with larger motherboard manufacturers, today introduced a range of new products designed for use with 10th Gen Intel Core processors. The Taiwanese manufacturer introduced motherboards based on Intel H410, B460 and Z490 chipsets.

There are three boards on the older Intel Z490 system logic: Racing Z490GTA Evo, Racing Z490GTA and Racing Z490GTN. The first two are made in the ATX form factor and offer powerful power subsystems with 16 and 14 phases, respectively. In turn, the Racing Z490GTN model is a compact Mini-ITX board with more modest equipment.

Biostar did not equip the novelties with new Intel network controllers with a bandwidth of 2,5 Gb / s, instead limiting themselves to the usual 1-gigabit controllers also from Intel. We also note that all three boards support the installation of Wi-Fi modules, but they are not equipped by default. We can also note the presence of backlighting, support for DDR4-4400 memory and the presence of a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C interface.

The Racing B460GTQ and Racing B460GTA motherboards are based on the mid-range Intel B460 chipset and are suitable for more budget systems. The first model is made in the Micro-ATX form factor, and the other - in the standard ATX. Both received two M.2 slots with radiators, multi-color backlighting, the ability to install up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM.

Finally, the H410MHG and H410MH boards based on the Intel H410 chipset became the most affordable Biostar novelties. Both are made in the Micro-ATX form factor and have the most basic equipment. Between themselves, they differ only in the sets of connectors on the rear panel, as well as the number of PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and SATA ports - the H410MHG model has a richer set, and more connectors.
