As Naeem Aslam, chief market analyst at Think Markets UK, commented on the situation, demand for cryptocurrency is growing along with the course. The number of buyers exceeds the number of sellers, which gives a positive impetus to the entire market. At the same time, the analyst puts forward a positive forecast for the next period, assessing the current situation on the market as clearly bullish: β€œIf we have already consolidated above $5000, now I expect $8000, and maybe we will see a rise to $10.”

However, as always, passions around bitcoin do not subside. Just yesterday, the 2001 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Joseph Stiglitz, interview on CNBC, he spoke out in favor of a ban on cryptocurrencies, as their anonymous nature contributes to the violation of the law. In addition, Stiglitz is known for the fact that in July last year he promised a drop in the value of bitcoin to $100 within ten years.

However, the vast majority of cryptocurrencies are traded in the green zone today.

As a result, the cryptocurrency market capitalization reached $186 billion, which is $61 billion higher than the capitalization at the beginning of the year.
