Black Lives Matter: EA Play Live 2020 and Steam Game Festival Postponed by a Week Due to Protests

According to Electronic Arts, it has moved the date of the EA Play Live 2020 online broadcast "due to the fact that now there are more important discussions and important voices must be heard around the world." Several announcements are expected at the event, as well as showcases of the publisher's sports franchises and already announced games such as Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.

Additionally, due to the Black Lives Matter protest, the Steam Summer Game Festival will start a week later. It will run from 16 to 22 June.

Recall that mass protests began after the actions of a Minnesota police officer during a detention on suspicion of petty fraud killed the previously repeatedly convicted African American George Floyd (George Floyd). People demand justice and equal treatment for all members of the human race, regardless of skin color.
