The Blackjet Valkyrie project has been launched on Kickstarter to launch a high-performance solid-state (SSD) drive for Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptop computers.
The device is made in the form of an oblong module with two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connectors for connecting to a laptop. On the opposite side of the product there is a Thunderbolt 3 connector, thanks to which you can connect other peripherals to the laptop through the drive, say, an external display.
The novelty applies to M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD products. The speed of reading and writing information can theoretically reach 1000 MB / s. The capacity is 1 TB.
The drive measures 130 x 33,6 x 11mm and weighs only about 60 grams. It is planned to release the device in two color options - silver and gray, so that the product can harmonize well with laptops MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
