Honor 9C smartphone with Kirin 710F processor is coming soon

The Honor brand, owned by the Chinese giant Huawei, is preparing to release a new mid-range smartphone. Information about the device with the code designation AKA-L29 appeared in the database of the popular Geekbench benchmark.

It is expected that the device will enter the commercial market under the name Honor 9C. It will ship with Android 10 operating system out of the box.

The Geekbench test indicates the use of a proprietary HiSilicon octa-core processor with a base clock speed of 1,71 GHz. Observers believe that the Kirin 710F chip is involved, which contains four Cortex-A73 cores at 2,2 GHz, four more Cortex-A53 cores at 1,7 GHz and a Mali-G51 MP4 graphics accelerator.

The specified amount of RAM is 4 GB. It is possible that other modifications of the smartphone will go on sale, say, with 6 GB of RAM.

In a single-core test, the novelty showed a result of 298 points, in a multi-core test - 1308 points.

Other technical characteristics of Honor 9C are still kept secret. It can be assumed that the device will be endowed with a multi-module camera with three or four blocks, as well as a display with a cutout or hole in the upper part.
