Blue Origin completes construction of its own Mission Control Center

American aerospace company Blue Origin has completed construction of its own Mission Control Center at Cape Canaveral. It will be used by the company's engineers for future launches of the New Glenn rocket. In honor of this, a short video was posted on Blue Origin's Twitter account showing the interior of the Mission Control Center.

In the video, you can see a shiny space filled with rows of tables with monitors placed in front of a giant screen. All the necessary equipment is located at the Blue Origin plant at Cape Canaveral, where the development of the New Glenn orbital rocket takes place. It is expected that after the development is completed, this rocket will be used for commercial launches, since it is capable of launching up to 45 tons of cargo into low Earth orbit. In addition, the rocket can be used for re-launches, as it can land on a special floating platform, similar to SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets.

It is worth noting that the video about the command center appeared just a few days after the company demonstrated another element that is directly related to the future Blue Origin rocket. We are talking about the head fairing, the diameter of which is as much as 7 meters. It will be placed on the outer side of the rocket, thanks to which the satellites that will go into space with New Glenn will be reliably protected. The debut of the New Glenn rocket could take place as early as next year.
