2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, a free expansion pack for , which is a plot bridge between the second and third parts of the series.
It is important to know that the add-on will be free only until July 8, 10:00 Moscow time. Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary tells how the Sanctuary was under siege, the Vault map was stolen, and poisonous gas spreads across the planet. This story is a direct prequel to Borderlands 3.
Players will face new bosses, will be able to explore previously unexplored regions and get a sea of ββitems above the legendary level. In addition, the maximum bar for leveling a character will increase to level 80, and beginners will be able to instantly develop a hero to level 30 and start expanding.
On PC, you'll need Borderlands 2 to play Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary. On Xbox One and PlayStation 4, this add-on works with Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. Previous generation consoles did not receive Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary.
