Microsoft Edge browser for iOS gets two new features

Microsoft has released another update for its Edge browser in the Apple App Store. The new version 44.13.1 brings two fresh features designed to make the product more attractive to iOS users.

Microsoft Edge browser for iOS gets two new features

Firstly, iPhone and iPad users who prefer Microsoft's creation to Apple's Safari web browser have the opportunity to enable tracking prevention, and can choose basic, balanced or maximum blocking if desired. You can access this feature in the settings menu.

Secondly, there is now a new option to sync favorites, passwords and other data with the new Microsoft Edge desktop browser (based on the Chromium engine). It is also possible to select synchronization with the legacy Edge, which was developed on its own engine.

As always, the latest iOS update also brings some general bug fixes and performance improvements. You can download an update or install a browser from the official page in the App Store.
