And yesterday it was discovered that an early release of Edge (Canary 76.0.151.0) for Mac computers became available for download from the official Microsoft website, although the company did not announce this, and on the Microsoft Edge Insider page you can download the distribution kit for Windows 10 only. , everyone who wants to install the application should take into account that this is not the final version, which means that bugs and non-working functions are not excluded in it.

Note that this is not the first Microsoft browser to appear on the "apple" computer platform. Back in 1996, the corporation released Internet Explorer for Mac. At first, the browser for Macintosh was developed on the basis of IE for Windows, but starting with the fifth version, which was released in 2000, it was based on the Tasman engine created from scratch. Three years later, after the release of Internet Explorer for Mac 5.2.3, Microsoft stopped updating the product, focusing on developing IE for its own operating system.
