UK Chart: Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch off to a surprisingly strong start

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is followed by another Activision game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The top three was closed by FIFA 20, which dropped one position from the previous week.

At the beginning of the year, there was a significant drop in game sales, which is typical for this period. Most on the way to the top in the top 10 advanced Borderlands 3, which rose from seventh place to fourth. The holiday sales contributed to this - the game cost £20.

UK Chart: Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch off to a surprisingly strong start

There is only one new release on the chart, Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch, which debuted at number fourteen. This is a great result as the previous installment in the series (on Nintendo 3DS) didn't chart at all in its first week. What's more, Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch sells 15 times more than its predecessor.

The Brain Training series is aimed at users who are usually in no hurry to buy new products. Therefore, the game may well linger in the chart for a while.
