Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is being ported to Switch very soon

famous adventure Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will visit Nintendo Switch on May 28th. The game will be sold for $15, but when pre-orders open, the cost will be temporarily reduced by 10%.

A key feature of this version will be the presence of a full-fledged local co-op. Previously, the game, which has visited many platforms for more than five years, has never been added to the game - one user had to control the two brothers. Of course, some players figured out how to “cheat the system” and just went through Brothers together on one gamepad, but co-op was never officially supported.

“Everyone told me that the game needed co-op,” explained project director Josef Fares many years ago. “But I'd rather cut off my hands than add it. The idea of the whole game is that your left hand is your big brother and your right hand is your little one.”

Fares probably didn't make this decision in the end - the Turn Up Games team is doing the porting, not the director's studio called Hazelight Studios. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was released in August 2013 on the Xbox 360, after which it was ported to the PlayStation 3, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS and Android.
