Former Respawn Entertainment employees Drew McCoy and Jon Shiring have announced the opening of a new studio called in Los Angeles, which will create AAA games.
McCoy and Shearing have been with Respawn Entertainment since May 2010. . The first was a senior producer and executive producer , while the second was a senior programmer and lead programmer on Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends.
Gravity Well is currently looking for professionals from almost all categories of game development, including game designers, engineers, artists, technical artists, animators, IT managers, office managers and HR.
Drew McCoy and John Shearing promise no rework at Gravity Well and creative freedom. The studio team will consist of 80β85 people in order to prevent possible risks with the organization of a large number of people. Gravity Well will develop games for the next generation of consoles and PC. It is not yet known which genres the studio will prefer.
