Canon has announced the PowerShot G5 X Mark II compact camera, replacing the PowerShot G5 X, which debuted back in 2015.
The novelty received a 1-inch (13,2 Γ 8,8 mm) BSI-CMOS CMOS sensor with 20,1 million effective pixels. The high-performance DIGIC 8 processor is responsible for data processing.
A lens with a 5x optical zoom and a focal length of 24β120 mm equivalent for 35 mm film cameras was used. The maximum aperture is f / 1,8-2,8.
The camera is endowed with a folding 3-inch display with support for touch control and a retractable electronic viewfinder with 100 percent frame coverage.
There are built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n and Bluetooth wireless adapters, an SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port and a micro-HDMI interface. Dimensions are 111 Γ 61 Γ 46 mm, weight - approximately 340 grams.
The novelty supports recording video in 4K/30p (3840 Γ 2160 pixels) and FHD/120p (1920 Γ 1080 pixels) formats. Sequential photography at 30 frames per second is possible.
The PowerShot G5 X Mark II will go on sale in August for an estimated price of $900.
