Canon has announced two instant cameras, the Zoemini S and Zoemini C models, which will go on sale in the European market at the end of April.
The older of the two novelties, the Zoemini S modification, is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor, a microSD card slot and eight-LED Fill Light. ISO sensitivity - ISO 100-1600. A Bluetooth 4.0 wireless adapter is provided, allowing the camera to be paired with a smartphone running the Canon Mini Print App.
Model Zoemini C, in turn, has a 5-megapixel sensor. There is a microSD slot, but there is no Fill Light. This unit does not have Bluetooth support, which makes it impossible to connect to a smartphone. Light sensitivity - ISO 100-1600.
The new products use ZINK printing technology. It involves the use of paper containing several layers of a special crystalline substance. When heated, this substance passes into an amorphous state and an image appears on paper.
The cameras are capable of producing printouts in about 50 seconds. Paper size - 50 Γ 75 mm. The built-in tray holds 10 sheets.
The Zoemini S and Zoemini C models will go on sale for an estimated price of 180 euros and 130 euros, respectively.
