In August, Capcom introduced the mysterious Mr. G, who proclaimed himself the President of the World, as a new fighter for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Now the company has released a standalone 2D shooter game dedicated to this fighter for fans.
The entertainment is called World President Challenges: A Shooting Game - in it the President of the World challenges the elusive criminal and military organization known as Shadaloo and led by M. Bison. Level after level, players are invited to clear the environment from hordes of enemies. At the end of each stage, the main character meets with a dangerous boss.
The free project is released in versions for PC and smartphones and is available on a special page. At the beginning of the game, a small introductory comic is shown that tells the backstory. President G or the "Man of Mystery" draws energy for his abilities from the Earth itself. In some ways, the character resembles Abraham Lincoln or Uncle Sam on steroids.
In addition, a video appeared on the Capcom YouTube channel about an android that makes various noises. It seems to be a development of ideas shown back in 2016.
