When Lisa Su demonstrated a 7nm Navi GPU on stage, the monolithic die without adjacent HBM2 memory chips immediately prompted the idea of ​​​​using GDDR6 memory, which rival NVIDIA adopted last year, introducing graphics solutions of the family Turing.

In addition, AMD emphasized that the RDNA architecture will form the basis not only for gaming graphics cards, but also solutions for broadcasting games from the cloud, as well as new game consoles. During her speech, Lisa Su stated that RDNA will be AMD's current graphics architecture for the next decade.
