A study conducted by Accenture analysts suggests that most IT companies have high hopes for fifth-generation (5G) mobile communications technologies.

Accenture surveyed over 2600 business and IT decision makers across 12 industries. The study, in particular, covered the US, UK, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Australia.
It turned out that about four out of five IT companies (79%) expect a significant business impact from the introduction of 5G. Including 57% believe that this influence will be revolutionary.
True, there are concerns about the security of fifth-generation mobile services. βAccording to our research, many believe that 5G can help secure businesses, but 5G network architecture also brings inevitable challenges in terms of user privacy, the number of connected devices and networks, as well as service access and supply chain integrity.β - the report says.
The survey showed that businesses are thinking about how to respond to these challenges, with 74% of respondents saying they expect security-related policies and procedures to be reviewed as 5G becomes available.
