Chieftec has prepared Chieftronic PowerPlay power supplies for release: the family will include five models of different capacities.
New items, as noted, are equipped with premium Japanese capacitors. A 140mm low-noise fan is responsible for cooling.
The series includes models with 80 PLUS Gold certification (for powers of 550, 650 and 750W) and 80 PLUS Platinum (for 850 and 1050 W). The devices are 160 mm long, so they can be built into almost any system that supports the installation of ATX power supplies.
Chieftronic PowerPlay solutions boast a fully modular cabling system. The developer highlights the high-quality case materials and the original design of the fan grille. Dimensions - 160 Γ 150 Γ 86 mm.
The units have the following safety features: OVP (mains overvoltage protection), OPP (overload protection), OCP (overload protection of any of the outputs of the unit separately), SCP (short circuit protection) and OTP (protection against overheating).
New items will go on sale in the near future. The price has not yet been disclosed, unfortunately.
