Chuwi, according to network sources, is preparing to release a compact portable computer Minibook with a convertible design.
The device will receive an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 Γ 1200 pixels and support for touch control. Users will be able to rotate the cover 360 degrees, putting the device in tablet mode.
The hardware basis is the Intel Gemini Lake platform. Modifications with a processor Celeron N4100 (four cores; 1,1-2,4 GHz) and Celeron N4000 (two cores; 1,1-2,6 GHz) will go on sale. These chips contain the Intel UHD Graphics 600 graphics accelerator.
The amount of RAM is 4 GB or 8 GB, the capacity of the eMMC flash drive is 64 GB or 128 GB. It is said about the possibility of installing a solid-state module of the M.2 format.
Other equipment includes USB Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A, mini HDMI, 3,5mm audio jack, microSD slot, stereo speakers and a 2-megapixel camera.
Optionally, it is possible to install a 4G/LTE module to work in mobile networks. Battery capacity - 3500 mAh.
The mini laptop comes with Windows 10 operating system. The price and timing of the start of sales have not yet been disclosed.
