At the upcoming Computex 2019 exhibition, not only Ryzen 3000 processors will be announced, but also new motherboards for them based on the AMD X570 chipset. Traditionally, some new products become known in advance. This time, WCCFTech has published an image and revealed details about the Colorful CVN X570 Gaming Pro motherboard, which belongs to the upper price segment.
The first thing that catches your eye on the CVN X570 Gaming Pro motherboard is a small fan located on the chipset heatsink. This is not often found in modern motherboards. It serves for additional cooling of the X570 system logic, especially when overclocking the system. Note that the user can turn it off to reduce noise, and this should not adversely affect the operation of the chipset and motherboard under normal operating conditions.
Also, the new Colorful motherboard based on the X570 chipset received a reinforced power subsystem with 10 phases for the processor and two phases for the memory modules. There is one 4-pin EPS connector on the CVN X570 Gaming Pro for additional power supply to the Socket AM8 connector. Massive aluminum radiators are installed on the power elements of the power circuits.
The CVN X570 Gaming Pro motherboard has four slots for DDR4-3466+ memory modules with a total capacity of up to 64 GB. The set of expansion slots includes three PCI Express 4.0 x16 and x1 slots. To connect storage devices, there are a pair of M.2 slots with heatsinks for additional cooling of the installed SSDs, as well as six SATA III ports.
There is also a Colorful Voice Gamer sound subsystem based on the Realtek ALC1150 codec, as well as a Realtek RTL8118AS gigabit network controller and a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless module. Unfortunately, there are no details about the cost, as well as the start date of sales of the Colorful CVN X570 Gaming Pro motherboard yet.
