Compal has unveiled another concept laptop: a convertible laptop called the Armer.
In its normal state, Armer looks like a traditional laptop with a display on the top half of the body and a keyboard on the bottom. At the same time, the screen supports touch control - you can interact with it with your fingers and a special pen.
Under the keyboard is an auxiliary elongated display. The special fastening of the cover allows you to bring the main screen closer to the additional one, completely hiding the keyboard.
In this mode, the computer turns into a workstation for content creators. The bottom screen, which measures 13,7 inches diagonally, can display various controls, a color palette, shortcut icons, and more.
Alas, while Armer exists only in the form of a conceptual development, and therefore the technical characteristics of the device are not disclosed. About when a laptop-transformer with the described design may appear on the commercial market, nothing is reported.
