Computex 2019: Deepcool makes almost all of its LSS leak-proof

Deepcool also did not stand aside from Computex 2019, which took place last week in Taiwan's capital, Taipei. The manufacturer presented at its stand a number of updated maintenance-free liquid cooling systems, as well as several computer cases and even one large air cooler.

A key feature of the liquid cooling systems shown by Deepcool is the leak protection system. This system, in fact, is an elastic container, which is immersed in the coolant on one side, and exits into the environment on the other. When the coolant heats up quite strongly and expands, the pressure in the circuit increases, thereby squeezing the container. As a result, when the pressure in the circuit exceeds atmospheric pressure, air escapes from the tank, freeing the volume for the liquid and equalizing the pressure in the circuit.

Deepcool has equipped its liquid cooling systems in almost all series with a leak prevention system. Entry-level models Gammaxx L120 and L240 V2 are already available on the market, and in August Gammaxx V3 coolers featuring an improved pump will appear.

You can also already purchase Castle 240RGB V2 and 360RGB V2 cooling systems, which also have leakage protection. And already this month, the Castle 240EX and 360EX models, equipped with improved 120mm fans, will join this family. Note that these fans have been designed specifically for use with coolant radiators and provide a more even distribution of airflow. We also note that the new Castle coolers will have the ability to replace the logo located under the pump cover.

Finally, new models of the most advanced Captain series were presented, which will go on sale in June this year. Deepcool has announced two new products: Captain 360X and 240X, each of which will be available in black and white colors. Here, the key difference, apart from the fluid leak warning system, is the use of a metal tube in the pump. Theoretically, this will contribute to better cooling. At least that's what the manufacturer claims.

In addition to liquid cooling systems, Deepcool showed at its booth the previously presented Macube 550 and Matrexx 70 cases, not only in black, but also in white. Note that both cases use tempered glass, and in the second case, not only the side panel, but also the front panel is made of it. Both cases are focused primarily on the assembly of productive gaming systems.

And in one of the cases, the new Assassin III air cooling system was also found. This is a powerful cooler with a pair of heat sinks and a pair of fans, built on seven copper heat pipes assembled in a copper base. According to the manufacturer, this cooling system is quite capable of coping with processors with a TDP of up to 280 watts. Unfortunately, its release date has not been specified.
