Computex 2019: MSI Trident X Plus Small Form Factor Gaming Computer

At Computex 2019, MSI is showcasing the Trident X Plus gaming desktop in a small form factor.

The system is based on the Intel Core i9-9900K processor. This Coffee Lake generation chip contains eight processing cores with the ability to process up to sixteen instruction streams. The nominal clock frequency is 3,6 GHz, the maximum is 5,0 GHz.

"This is the smallest model with the ninth generation Intel Core i9 processor, which is one and a half times faster than its predecessors in gaming and professional applications," says MSI.

As part of the graphics subsystem, a powerful discrete GeForce RTX 2080 Ti accelerator is used, endowed with 11 GB of GDDR6 memory.

A door-like tempered glass side panel provides easy access to components, while the exclusive Silent Storm Cooling 3 keeps them cool by dividing the interior into three compartments with independent airflow.

The system can carry 32 GB of RAM, two M.2 SSDs and two storage devices in a 2,5-inch form factor. There is a Realtek 8111H gigabit network controller, DP 1.2, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A, USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, etc. The operating system is Windows 10.
