As part of the Computex 2019 exhibition currently taking place in the capital of Taiwan, Taipei, NZXT presented a whole series of new cases. About the oldest and most advanced H510 Elite we already wrote. Now, after visiting the NZXT stand, I would like to talk about other new products.

NZXT has released an updated H-series of cases, which they call H Series Refresh. It includes the H210, H510 and H710 cases, as well as their versions with the β€œi” suffix, equipped with a built-in backlight and fan controller. The new products have received some design improvements, a USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2 port has appeared on the front panel of connectors, and versions with the β€œi” suffix are also equipped with an updated Smart Device v2 controller.

According to the developers, the interior of the new H-series cases has been slightly changed, which should improve the ease of assembling the system. The 2,5-inch SSD bays have also been improved, and the glass side panels are now secured with a single screw at the back, instead of 4 on top and bottom of the glass side panel.

As for the updated Smart Device v2 controller, it has become more functional and has acquired a second channel for advanced backlight control. The first version of the controller had only one channel. Let us also note that the Smart Device v2 controller, of course, allows you to control the speed of the fans.

Otherwise, the updated NZXT H-series cases have retained their strict appearance, distinguishing them from other similar ones. Each model will be available in three color options: matte black, matte white and matte black with red elements. The H210 and H210i models are designed for compact systems on Mini-ITX boards, the H510 and H510i cases allow you to build a system on boards up to ATX, and the largest H710 and H710i can accommodate an E-ATX motherboard. The new items will be supplied with several fans included.

Unfortunately, the final cost of the new NZXT H-series cases has not yet been specified, but, presumably, the new items will be slightly more expensive than the H-series models currently sold in stores.
