Control will be filled with music from composers Inside and Alan Wake

505 Games and Remedy Entertainment have announced that Martin Stieg Andersen (Limbo, Inside, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) and Petri Alanko (Alan Wake, Quantum Break) are working on the soundtrack for Control.

“No one writes the music for Control better than Petri Alanko and Martin Stig Andersen. Martin's deep and dark ideas, combined with the unique energy of Petri Alanko, will make the soundtrack unimaginable, said Game Director Control Michael Kasurinen (Michael Kasurinen). Both of them understand what music should be, but they look at it from different angles. They complement each other perfectly." Martin Stig Andersen is known for creepy compositions, and Alanko for his combination of instrumental and electronic music.

The world of Control is constantly changing, and the harsh reality is mixed with surrealism. The soundtrack of these two composers will decorate the game and complement the dynamic gameplay. “We understand that only very strange music will fit the Control aesthetic. After listening to the great soundtracks from previous projects, including Alan Wake, Limbo and Inside, we immediately knew that it was the combination of the talents of Petri Alanko and Martin Stieg Andersen that would create the perfect, strange and ghostly soundtrack for Control,” said Ville Sorsa, Senior Sound Engineer of Control (Ville Sorsa).

Control will go on sale August 27 on PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
