Corsair has unveiled the new Corsair MP2 M.400 NVMe series of PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe drives. New items are built on 3D QLC NAND flash memory, which is capable of storing four bits per cell. New items are presented in volumes of 1, 2 and 4 TB. A little later, the company is also going to replenish this series with an 8 TB model.
A characteristic feature of the new SSD series is a high data transfer rate of up to 3400 MB / s for sequential reading and 3000 MB / s for sequential writing.
Like all Corsair SSDs, the MP400 models offer support for the Corsair SSD Toolbox software, which allows you to conveniently and securely erase and update firmware right from your desktop. Corsair MP400 has a claimed resource of up to 1600 TB and a five-year warranty.
Corsair estimated the junior model of the 400TB MP1 drive at $130. The price of the 2TB model is $265. The manufacturer estimated the 4 TB option at $610. A model with a capacity of 8 TB is estimated at $1380.
