Cryorig C7 G: low-profile graphene-coated cooling system

Cryorig is preparing a new version of its low-profile C7 CPU cooler. The novelty will be called Cryorig C7 G, and its key feature will be a graphene coating, which should provide higher cooling efficiency.

The preparation of this cooling system became clear due to the fact that Cryorig published its instructions for use on its website. A full description of the cooler will be published later, after the official announcement, which will probably take place as part of the upcoming Computex 2019 exhibition. Be that as it may, we already know the main characteristics of the Cryorig C7 G.

Apparently, in terms of dimensions and device, the Cryorig C7 G will not differ from the standard version of the C7 or the copper C7 Cu. The height of the cooling system is only 47 mm, of which 15 mm falls on a 90 mm fan. The length and width of the novelty are 97 mm. The cooler is compatible with Intel LGA 115x and AMD AMx processor sockets.

The cooling system is built on four copper heat pipes. Unfortunately, at the moment it is not known for certain what material the radiator is made of, but presumably it is copper, as in the case of C7 Cu. The entire structure is covered with a layer of graphene. This should increase the efficiency of the cooler, although it is not yet known how much. Note that for copper C7 Cu, a TDP of 115 W is declared, and for a standard Cryorig C7 with an aluminum heatsink - 100 W. Presumably, the novelty will be able to cope with TDP up to 125-130 W, which is quite a lot for such a compact cooling system.

To all appearances, the Cryorig C7 G will still be responsible for blowing the radiator with a 92 mm low-profile fan with PWM control support. It is capable of spinning at speeds from 600 to 2500 rpm, creating an airflow of 40,5 CFM and providing a pressure of 2,8 mm of water. Art. The maximum noise level in this case is 30 dBA. Note that the kit will come with mounts that allow you to install any other 92mm fan, both low-profile and regular.

Unfortunately, the cost, as well as the start date of sales of the Cryorig C7 G graphene-coated cooling system, has not yet been specified.
