Cuphead is out on PS4, but The Delicious Last Course will have to wait

Studio MDHR executive producer and inker Marija Moldenhauer shared the details of upcoming releases within the Cuphead franchise at the promised Summer Game Fest 2020 broadcast.

After morning leak Moldenhauer confirmed that Cuphead really will be released on the PlayStation 4. The owners of the Japanese console did not have to wait long - the premiere took place shortly after the end of the stream.

In the Russian segment PlayStation Store hardcore platformer costs 1399 rubles. For comparison: the version for Nintendo eShop will cost those who wish 1499 rubles, and the version for Steam ΠΈ GOG - at 419 rubles.

β€œIt is simply unrealistic to imagine players traveling through the Ink Isles with PlayStation controllers in their hands. To all the diehard PlayStation fans who've been sending us messages over the years, we're thrilled you're getting the chance to try Cuphead in person," said Studio MDHR co-founder Chad Moldenhauer on press release.

With regard to the presented back in 2018 year add The Delicious Last Course to Cuphead, then Maria Moldenhauer admitted: the developers were a little hasty with the announcement of the addon.

Until recently, the release of The Delicious Last Course expected in 2020. Now the expansion is planned to be released "when it's ready." Moldenhauer also confirmed that the DLC will go on sale immediately for all target platforms.

Cuphead is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The Microsoft console version is reportedly getting an update soon that will add a gallery, playable soundtrack, and developer commentary to the game.
