Microsoft and Studio MDHR have announced a version of the colorful platformer Cuphead for the Nintendo Switch. The project, previously only available on PC and Xbox One, will go on sale on the hybrid console on April 18.
On the same day, the game will receive a major free update on all platforms. Firstly, it will allow you to play as Mugman in single player mode. At this time, when passing the level, a special composition will sound, and you will be able to choose it not only when restarting the βplotβ from the very beginning, but also when continuing the campaign that has already begun.
Secondly, from now on all videos will be fully animated. The game will add several introductory videos for Cuphead and Mugman, improve the backs, increase the spectacular effects, work on smoke and explosions - in general, Cuphead will look even better than before.
Another patch will add to the game translation into many languages, including Russian. The delay is explained by the desire to choose the perfect font for each of them. Finally, the update will improve performance, speed up the loading process in most episodes, and reduce the size of the platformer on your hard drive.
