CD Projekt summed up of its operations in the third quarter (July 1-September 30) and the first nine months of fiscal year 2019. At the same time, expenses increased by €9,4 million (up to €24,3 million), which is associated with the active development phase of Cyberpunk 2077, the production of materials for disc editions of the game and the transfer of the third The Witcher to the Nintendo Switch. 

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt brought in the most revenue with two story additions, Gwent: The Witcher. Card game "(Gwent: The Witcher Card Game) and" Blood feud: The Witcher. Stories" (Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales). However, in the third quarter, the card game and its standalone story campaign were less profitable than in previous periods. This is due to the fact that Gwent was not receiving any expansions at that time: the first major addon, Crimson Curse, was released on March 28, Novigrad followed on June 28, and Iron Will ( Iron Judgment) took place only on October 2.

According to Piotr Nielubowicz, CD Projekt's CFO, the company was very encouraged by the warm reception of these versions, especially since CD Projekt RED had not previously worked with these platforms.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Bloomberg Analyst Matthew Kanterman predicted game 20 million copies sold in the first year after the release - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt achieved such a result in four years.
