Bohemia Interactive has announced that DayZ is coming to PlayStation 4 on May 29th.
DayZ was previously released on PC and Xbox One. The game takes place in the fictional post-Soviet country of Chernarus, which was affected by an unknown biological virus. Most of the population turned into zombies, but there were those who were not touched by the disease. Survivors fight desperately for resources, risking being killed by zombies or another person every second.
βDayZ is a cutthroat, authentic online sandbox open-world game where each of the 60 players on a server has the sole goal of surviving as long as possible at any cost. There are no banal tips, passage points, training missions and tips in the game. Every decision must be weighed. There are no saves or extra lives in the game, so any mistake can be fatal. If you crash, you lose everything and start all over again.
Finding resources and roaming the open world is never safe in DayZ, as you don't know what's around the next corner. Interactions with other hostile players or the struggle to survive in harsh weather conditions can be great to tickle your nerves and cause genuine emotions.
