The Chinese company Vivo, as it was promised, introduced a new mid-range smartphone - the Y17 model with the Funtouch OS 9 operating system based on Android 9.0.

The screen of the device has a size of 6,35 inches diagonally and has a resolution of HD + (1544 Γ— 720 pixels). The display received a waterdrop notch at the top: a 20-megapixel selfie camera with a maximum aperture of f / 2,0 is installed here.

The rear camera is made in the form of a triple block: it combines modules with 13 million (f / 2,2), 8 million (f / 2,2) and 2 million (f / 2,4) pixels. There is an LED flash. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The computing load was taken over by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which contains eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores with a clock speed of up to 2,3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB.

Providing power is the task of a powerful battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for 18-watt fast charging. The smartphone weighs 190,5 grams and measures 159,43 Γ— 76,77 Γ— 8,92 mm.

Other equipment includes a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter (2,4 / 5 GHz), a Bluetooth 5.0 controller, a GPS / GLONASS receiver, a Micro-USB port and a standard headphone jack.

The Vivo Y17 will go on sale in Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple color options for around $260.
