Baldur's Gate 3 Debut Gameplay Showcase February 27th

Larian Studios has lifted the veil of secrecy over the fact that after all “ripe” until February 27 - on this day at the PAX East 2020 festival there will be a debut demonstration of the gameplay of Baldur's Gate 3.

The event will start at 23:30 Moscow time. Not only visitors to the show, but also Internet users will be able to take a look at the gameplay of the expected role-playing game - the broadcast will be available on Larian Studios YouTube channel.

As part of the presentation, they will share details of the plot and game mechanics, as well as answer “burning questions.” Showcasing Baldur's Gate 3 from the stage will be Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke and a “special guest.”

Larian Studios calls Baldur's Gate 3 a "next generation" role-playing game and potentially its best work. They promise more than 100 hours of content and many “surprises along the way” that will surprise even fans Divinity: Original Sin 2.

It is unknown what kind of surprises Larian Studios is preparing, but November interview with Game Informer Vincke said the studio took "a lot of creative risks" with Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldur's Gate 3 was announced in June 2019, but has been created since 2017. To date, the development team has grown to 350 people, including employees from third-party studios helping with production.

The threequel is being developed for PC and the Google Stadia cloud service. According to a recent Google promotional material, Baldur's Gate 3 will be released in 2020, but Larian Studios announced the inclusion of the game in the list of releases for this year by mistake.
