According to leaked information on the Internet, Dell is designing an XPS laptop with a 17-inch display. The announcement of this laptop is scheduled for mid-summer next year.
Apparently, the 17-inch version of the XPS will get a screen with narrow bezels and an Intel hardware platform. Observers believe that carbon fiber and (or) magnesium alloy will be used in the construction of the hull. This will ensure a relatively small weight.
In addition, the documentation refers to the preparation of the mysterious laptop XPS Dual Screen Maximus. The name indicates the presence of two displays, but the specific configuration remains in question.
It can be assumed that the second screen in the XPS Dual Screen Maximus will be located either in place of the usual keyboard, or on the outside of the top cover. In any case, the novelty will be able to offer non-standard modes of use.
Most likely, the XPS Dual Screen Maximus will be a convertible laptop. Dell intends to introduce this portable computer in the fall of 2020 - no earlier than October. However, these plans may change.
