Dell Improves XPS 15 Laptop with Intel Coffee Lake-H Refresh Chip and GeForce GTX 16 Series Graphics

Dell announced that in June the updated XPS 15 laptop will see the light, which will receive a modern electronic β€œstuffing” and a number of design changes.

The 15,6-inch laptop will reportedly be powered by an Intel Coffee Lake-H Refresh processor. We are talking about a Core i9 chip with eight processing cores.

In addition, the novelty will use a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16 Series. As an option, buyers will be able to order the installation of a high-quality organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display.

One of the design changes will be the transfer of the webcam to a new location. In the current generation XPS 15, it is located under the screen, which is not very convenient: the lens can overlap with the user's hands when typing on the keyboard, and the shooting angle may also suffer. In the new generation of laptops, the webcam will be located in the familiar area - above the display.

As for the cost of a computer, it will remain approximately at the same level - from 1000 US dollars.
