Dell sees a bright future in China

Recently in Beijing, the website reports China Daily, the next annual summit of Dell Technologies was held. The opening speech was delivered by the founder and head of the company, Michael Dell. Dell works in and for China, he said, as a "witness, participant and beneficiary" of reform and opening up in the country. Despite tensions in trade relations between the US and China, Dell sees a bright future for itself and China in the relationship.

Dell sees a bright future in China

Behind Michael Dell's optimism are dry numbers. From activities in China, Dell Technologies receives revenue of up to $33 billion a year. This about one third of the company's total annual turnover worldwide. Breaking off such relations will be extremely unpleasant for both the American side and the Chinese side. And it is not difficult to understand who will be worse off from this.

In China, Dell Technologies has two global service centers, three factories and eight research and development centers. The company maintains a staff of 64 employees. In addition, up to 000 hours a year are devoted to charity. A significant part of the money earned in China ends up in the country in the form of investments and, obviously, in the form of taxes.

The Dell CEO sees huge potential in China in emerging industries such as 5G, big data processing and artificial intelligence. Dell Technologies, he said, will make every effort to unlock new opportunities for the development of both its business and the Chinese economy faster and more fully.
