Codemasters continues to talk about career mode in its racing game DiRT 5. This time, the studio has published a new trailer for the story campaign, and also revealed the release date of the project.
DiRT 5 hits stores on October 9th for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Versions of the racing game for next generation consoles will go on sale before the end of this year.
Details on how DiRT 5 will function on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the developers promised to share later. In the meantime, Codemasters said that they will try to effectively use the power of the new consoles.
In story mode like , actors Troy Baker (Troy Baker) and Nolan North (Nolan North) take part. The former plays a local superstar and mentor to the protagonist, Alex Janicek, while the latter plays a nemesis named Bruno Durand.
According to Baker, DiRT 5, despite the five in the title, feels fresh. Both artists praised the narrative component: the characters are well written, the dialogues turned out to be natural, and everyone coped with the acting with a bang.
