Lenovo ThinkPad P laptops pre-installed with Ubuntu

Lenovo's new ThinkPad P-series laptops will optionally come with Ubuntu pre-installed. In the official press release not a word about Linux, Ubuntu 18.04 Appeared in the list of possible pre-installation systems on page specifications for new laptops. It also claims certification for use on Red Hat Enterprise Linux devices.

An optional Ubuntu pre-installation is available for the second generation ThinkPad P P53, P53s, P73, and P43s models, which are scheduled to go on sale at the end of June. The models belong to the Premium line, the cost of devices in which starts from $1499 (can be equipped with 4K screens, 64GB of RAM, NVIDIA Quadro and CPU Xeon E-2276M or Intel Core i9). For the ThinkPad A, 11e, L, X, T, and E series, Ubuntu is not yet listed as a pre-installed operating system.
