The package also includes changes necessary for qtwayland to work correctly on systems with proprietary NVIDIA drivers.
Additionally, there is a stated plan to add the proposed package to Debian, after which it will be officially integrated into Ubuntu and derivative distributions. Let us recall that after the Qt Company restricted access to the repository with the Qt 5.15 source code, the KDE project took over the maintenance of publicly available patches for this branch.
