PPA proposed for Ubuntu to improve Wayland support in Qt

For the Ubuntu 22.04 distribution, which is expected to be released on April 21, a PPA repository with the qtwayland module has been prepared, into which fixes related to improving support for the Wayland protocol have been transferred from the Qt 5.15.3 branch, accompanied by the KDE project. The package also includes changes necessary for qtwayland to work correctly on systems with proprietary NVIDIA drivers.

Additionally, there is a stated plan to add the proposed package to Debian, after which it will be officially integrated into Ubuntu and derivative distributions. Let us recall that after the Qt Company restricted access to the repository with the Qt 5.15 source code, the KDE project took over the maintenance of publicly available patches for this branch.
