Got it: Untitled Goose Game sales reached 1 million copies

β€œIt sounds incredible, but last week, three months after release, Untitled Goose Game passed 1 million copies sold. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for playing our video game,” Sasser wrote.

According to Sasser, the reaction of the community was beyond what the authors could imagine: β€œWe hope that we added joy to your life, because it definitely increased in ours. And we will never forget it."

After its premiere, Untitled Goose Game proved to be the main joke on the internet for a while, culminating in a segment featuring the goose and The Muppets characters at The Game Awards 2019.

Untitled Goose Game was released on PC (Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch in September 2019, and in December it reached PS4 and Xbox One. The release of the game on Steam is expected at the end of 2020.

Untitled Goose Game is a sandbox game with stealth elements. The main role in the game is assigned to the pest goose, which has set itself the goal of ruining the day for the inhabitants of a small town.

As Untitled Goose Game creator Nico Disseldorp admitted in October, the project born spontaneously: the idea to make a game about a goose was put forward as a joke, but the developers never came up with anything better.
