Doctor Web company on the release of the Dr.Web security solution for the Avrora mobile platform (formerly Sailfish Mobile OS RUS). It is claimed that this is the first antivirus for the domestic system.
Dr.Web for Aurora OS protects mobile devices from malicious applications and digital threats. The product scans all files in memory or individual files and folders at the user's request, checks archives, keeps statistics of detected viruses and malicious software actions, as well as an event log. Identified threats are removed or moved to quarantine for further analysis by IT security services. The relevance of virus databases and threat signatures is ensured by their automatic updating via the Internet.
"Aurora" for use in Russian state and large commercial organizations that have high requirements for IT security. The platform at the kernel level supports control of the file system, bootloader and key components, the violation of the integrity of which leads to automatic blocking of the device. Aurora also includes means of cryptographic information protection and allows you to restrict user rights in accordance with corporate security policies both at the OS level and using mobile device management systems (Mobile Device Management, MDM). The platform is certified by the FSB and the FSTEC of Russia and can be used to work with information that does not contain information constituting a state secret.
Recall that according to Presidential Decree βOn National Goals and Strategic Objectives for the Development of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2024β, all government departments and organizations are required to transfer their IT systems to domestic software by the mentioned deadline.
