As part of the Yet another Conference 2019 event, Yandex introduced a number of new products and services: one of them was a smart home with the Alisa voice assistant.
Yandex's smart home provides for the use of smart lighting fixtures, smart sockets and other household devices. "Alice" can be asked to turn on the light, turn down the temperature on the air conditioner or turn up the volume of the music.
To control a "smart" home, you need a device or application with "Alice": it can be, say, a smart column "Yandex.Station". You can give commands to one device or several at once. A smart home allows you to set up any scenario: select the necessary devices and actions and come up with a phrase for activation. For example, the greeting "Alice, good morning" can activate the playback of music and the inclusion of a kettle.
The platform is compatible with dozens of devices made by companies such as Philips, Redmond, Rubetek, Samsung and Xiaomi. In addition, Yandex presented three of its own gadgets for the smart home - a smart light bulb, a socket and a remote control. The light bulb changes the brightness and color of the lighting, using the socket you can remotely turn on and off the devices connected to it, and the remote control controls the equipment with an infrared port.

Another novelty presented was a gadget called "". It connects to the HDMI port of the TV and transmits video from the Yandex application to the screen. You can interact with the module through Alice: in response to a voice command, the assistant will pause the movie or, say, turn up the sound. The price of the gadget is about 2000 rubles.
At the same time, Yandex launched a personal video channel "". It adapts to the interests of the viewers and offers everyone the most relevant content. The channel provides a variety of materials: films and clips, interviews, sports and videos of bloggers. For each viewer, the service selects what will be interesting to him. When choosing content, Yandex uses its knowledge of users: what they watch on the company's services, what videos they rate and what topics they are interested in. For each person, the service draws up a program for a couple of days, as well as a selection of films and programs. Viewers can rate the video and remove from the program what does not suit them - the service will immediately find a replacement.
Another new Yandex product is the Plus family subscription. It gives users additional features: full access to Yandex.Music without ads, discounts on Taxi and Drive, additional Disk space, and the ability to watch more than 4000 films and TV shows on KinoPoisk. A family subscription "Plus" for four people will cost 299 rubles per month.
