Today on PC
Fortunately for fans of Two Point Studios' humorous hospital simulator, the delay was relatively short: only a week. Now the release of the PC version of Off the Grid is scheduled for March 25th.
Community manager Mark Steggall shared news of the delay on the studio's official website. According to him, straightforward people work at Two Point Studios, so the team did not hide the reason for the transfer.
The fact is that the developers discovered a problem in the add-on that led to the game crashing. The cause of the trouble has already been identified and is now being actively resolved so that later it cannot spoil anyone’s impressions of the project.
“We're really looking forward to giving everyone a chance to try this new DLC. We are incredibly proud of it and want you to get the most out of it! But we are not ready to arrange a release when there is such a serious threat. It's not fair to you and doesn't reflect the great job the team has done," Steggall explained.
Off the Grid will add three locations to the game for medical activities, 35 new diseases (including summer resident syndrome and a fireplace in the kidneys), as well as offices with “interesting equipment” and “environmentally friendly decorative items.”
Off the Grid DLC is now available for pre-order
