Nnn 4.0 console file manager available

The release of the console file manager nnn 4.0 has been published, suitable for use on low-power devices with limited resources (memory consumption is about 3.5MB, and the size of the executable file is 100KB). In addition to tools for navigating through files and directories, it includes a disk space analyzer, an interface for launching programs, a file selection mode for vim, and a system for bulk file renaming in batch mode. The project code is written in C using the curses library and distributed under the BSD license. It supports Linux, macOS, BSD systems, Cygwin, Termux for Android and WSL for Windows, in the form of a vim plugin.

Main features: detailed and abbreviated information display modes, navigation as you type the file / directory name, tabs, bookmark system for quick transition to frequently used directories, several sorting modes, search system by mask and regular expressions, tools for working with archives, the ability to using the shopping cart, marking different types of catalogs with their own colors, the ability to preview videos and images, extending functionality through plugins (for example, there are plugins for viewing PDF, encrypting with GPG and showing thumbnails for videos).

The new release adds new plugins for mounting Android device storage using the MTP protocol, cleaning up filenames and copying files via rsync with displaying the progress of the operation. Added support for new MIME types. The status bar provides a display of hard link parameters and information about where the symbolic link points to.
