OS108 9.0 is available, a custom distribution based on NetBSD

Took place distribution release OS108 9.0based on NetBSD 9.0 and desktop MATE. The project is presented by the creator as a safe OS that can be used instead of Windows and macOS. Project achievements extend under the ISC license. Suggested for download Live image, 1.9 GB in size (x86_64).

The sysinst utility is used to install on a hard disk, but the project also develops a graphical installer OS108i (fork gbi, the GhostBSD installer), implemented as an add-on to pc-sysinstall and supports installation after booting in Live mode from DVD or USB Flash. An application manager is also under development AppCentral, based on software-station from the GhostBSD project.
